RooFix is qualified to provide installation and repairs of all types of roof surfaces. Flat (low-sloped roofs) which include traditional asphalt and gravel, "torch-on" \ SBS roofs, single ply EPDM and TPO membranes and various cold applied surfacing. Steep slope roofs include coverings of cedar, asphalt and metal shingles, concrete tile and metal panels.

ASSESSMENTS
If you like to be one step ahead this is the way to go....proactive versus reactive.
RooFix will provide an assessment of the complete condition of your roof and make recommendations for maintenance and repairs to keep your roof performing, extend its service life, complete a real estate transaction or simply for your peace of mind. A professional written report with photo documentation is provided along with any recommendations for repairs that are required.

MAINTENANCE
The more regularly maintenance is performed the more cost effective it becomes.
Maintenance should be carried out on all systems types on an annual basis. This is something virtually no one thinks about until a massive leak ruins your newly installed hardwood floors.
THE RAIN SEASON We carrying out routine scheduled maintenance on all types of roofs both flat and sloped from Whistler to Hope. We provide you with a written report and photos of all maintenance items. Your roofs should be maintained at least once a year before the rainy season, to address drains, roof penetrations, debris or report visible damage.
NEW ROOFSWarranties always require routine scheduled maintenance as part of their warranty conditions. Non compliance can unfortunately void an otherwise active warranty because debris build up will compromise the systems integrity by limiting the roofs ability to drain affectively.
INSURANCECalls from insurance providers or restorations companies are a frequent occurrence for us during the rainy season. Often the call is simply a maintenance related item such as debris accumulation. In most cases maintenance related damage is not covered by insurance leaving home/building owners to cover the cost of expensive interior and exterior repairs. Annual maintenance on your home can avoid these issues at a fraction of the cost both for your emotional well being and your wallet.

REPAIRS.
A blanket quote to replace your roof may not always be necessary. Repairs will often extend the serpvice life of the roof for several additional years.
Elements Area specific damage to your roof surface from weather elements such as hail, ice, snow, aging, heat are common issues.
Rodent Damage Damage can be severe and often goes unnoticed until a rain fall. We can pr,/ovide a temporary solution over the area to prevent water ingress and provide a quote for the complete repairs.
Installations New curbs, sleepers or roof penetrations are all part of our scope of work
Flashings MetalPerimeter flashings, minor gutter repairs, chimney flashings and skylights are also a few of the many sheet metal items completed by our Red Seal trained and certified sheet metal staff.
Structural Minor repairs such as the replacement of small areas of rotted fascia or roof decking can be undertaken by our in house service staff. RooFix will only address issues we are comfortable that we can provide you with a standard appropriate repair.
LEAK INVESTIGATIONS
If your roof is leaking a quote to replace your roof may not always be necessary
Sourcing and repairing your roof leak is an easy 3 or 4 step process for you and RooFix. Working together we can get your problem solved with a process that involves you.
1. Attendanceis almost always during a rainfall while the leak is active. We utilize the benefit of the active roof leak to locate the source more accurately and if possible achieve a temporary or permanent repair. The intention of the initial visit is to leave your home or business watertight to ease any concerns.
2. Follow-up call from our office can be expected within 2 business days of our attendance to assure we have addressed the correct issue and address any concerns you may have.
3. Report and quote sent to your email within 5 business days after the follow up call has confirmed the leaking has stopped. RooFix will provide you with a full professional report including digital photos of our visit.If no additional repairs are required your leak has been repaired otherwise an itemized fixed price quote will be provided with step 3.
4. Quote approval is required for us to perform any further repairs to your system based on our findings from the above process. This is an important step as it gives you an opportunity to review the itemized work scope we have provided to insure it addresses any of your additional concerns.
REPLACEMENTS
Trust and confidence in our in-house roofing staff is why most of our existing clients turn to us when repairs are no longer cost effective. We are always happy to provide new clients with a quote.
The clients for whom we provide repairs and maintenance for often request us to replace their roofs when repairs no longer suffice. We definitely have the capacity to carry out replacements and have done so with our own in house staff since we came into business. We are approved applicators of most sloped roof systems. Flat roof system replacements with single ply roofing membranes such as EPDM or TPO have successfully been our focus granting us the title of 'Friendship in Quality' with Firestone.
DURADEK
Duradek is a waterproof vinyl roof and walking deck membrane system built for heavy traffic areas. The membrane provided is available in many stylish colours, patterns and textures.
RooFix is a certified commercial dealer for DURADEK and are trained professional applicators. We have the ability to not only repair and maintain these systems but also to replace or install new applications.

THERMAL IMAGING
RooFix is certified and trained to provide reliable, non contact testing. We provide scanning, visualization and analysis of temperature and moisture readings for your building or home.
Before Replacements This method is a great nonintrusive approach to detecting rot prior to a replacement which allows those additional costs to be reviewed prior to the work commencing.
Ventilation This tool will help detect ventilation issues by showing areas where cool air is being allowed to enter or warm air is not being allowed to exit the building.
Built-In GUTTERS
Built-In gutters are a slope roof drainage system built in to the frame of your home as opposed to aluminum gutters that hang externally. These systems are traditionally lined with two different types of systems: 1. EPDM 2. SBS (Torch-On). It is just as common to find these systems incorrectly installed on new homes as it is old homes and the poor detailing often leads to leaking through the soffit or at times directly into your home. RooFix has been repairing this gutter type for many years giving home owners piece of mind. The repair scope can be tailored to your needs whether you choose to deal with one problematic area at a time or replacing on the entire system.
The following is an outline of packages RooFix has developed based on our experience with addressing these systems.
Gold level 10 year warranty, replacement of entire membrane
Silver level. 7 year warranty, fully adhering existing membrane, new detailing on all corners, seams and drains
Bronze level 5 year warranty, detailing all corners, seams and drains of existing system.

Having beautifully installed architectural flashings can add the finishing touches you are looking for on your home or business.
